Trinh Nguyen
Class of 2025
Hello everyone :) I'm Trinh, a junior in Kirkland House, concentrating in Neuroscience with a secondary in Computer Science, and a citation in Spanish. My home is Vietnam, but my family moved to Minnesota when I was nine, where I discovered my love for ice skating, skiing, and the joy of apple cider donuts on a chilly autumn day. Throughout my time at Harvard, I have found supportive communities in all pockets of campus; I found my closest friends through my study abroad in Spain, my home through the Harvard Global Education Movement, and my comfort through the Vietnamese Association. When I am not in the classroom, you can most definitely find my karaoking and dancing to Taylor Swift and One Direction. With HGEM, I am excited to be a family of welcoming individuals who aim to make college an accessible and affordable experience.

On campus, I am involved in Engineers Without Borders where I help design hand and solar water pumps for remote communities in Kenya and am also a consultant for Behavioral Strategies Group, helping companies apply behavioral economics and nudges into their models. Above all, I am always eager to engage in meaningful conversations in the dining hall with my friends that go for hours on end.
